China Farm House is not a palace! It's a dive when it comes to the decor. However, it does do some things well. Their fried rice has plenty of meat in it, it's not overly greasy and it is well seasoned. I love their Chicken with Broccoli, it has plenty of chicken and tons of Brocolli. I would avoid the honey garlic chicken. It was battered and fried and greasy and overly sweet. If you don't want to pay a ton of money for mediocre food then you need to go to China Farm House. It's the best deal in North Beach and they will deliver for $2, less than any other Restaurant on the beach. Yes, the old chinese lady who takes your order, cooks the food and rings you up. Who cares if you get good food at a Great Price!!!

I've had a hard time finding a casual Chinese restaurant that serves the kind of Chinese food I remember eating as a youth. You know, fried rice that was white but turns brown from the soy sauce with bean sprouts, a little scrambled egg, scallions, and other goodies. Most places these days seem to serve that greasy yellow rice foolishness that only has chunks of onion and no other discernible flavor. During a search of Yelp last night, I came across China Farm House. Not far from my place and decent prices. I'm guessing it was totally empty due to it being around 8pm on a Sunday? Hmmmm. There are tables and chairs with a serving bar towards the back. Everything looked like it was original furnishings, from the carpet to the stools which were covered in what looked like towels. Hmmm. The lady there seemed out of breath and verrry tired. She also seemed to have been the person who cooked the food and was also the person who took my order over the phone, brought my food out and rang me up. Hmmm. But she was nice. The rice looked kind of like what I wanted (I had to request bean sprouts, btw). However, it was sticky rice so there were clumps of white rice throughout. I ordered Special Fried Rice (ham, chicken, pork, shrimp) and while there was meat in the rice, there wasn't enough of it. My meal came with Honey Garlic Chicken (too doughy, not enough actual chicken and greasy), an Egg Roll (all dough with a pinch of cabbage and greasy), and Wonton Soup (BLAND). I won't be back to China Farm House. It wasn't a meal I look forward to having again, although the price was reasonable.

I recently ordered food for delivery for the first time from here. I have no complaints about the food, it was great. I had Shrimp Lo Mein, Won-Ton Soup and the Spring Rolls. I will definitely order from them again.

This place is discusting, As I walked out of their discusting bathrrom I peeked into the kitchen to see if the kitchen had the same conditions, and it did. The kitchen was discustingly dirty and I saw roaches in both the bathroom and the kitchen. What a mess. . I walked out. GROSS! My family and I joke about it everytime we pass by it.

Reasonable price is the only thing this place has going for it. I ordered delivery a few times when I was so broke, it was all I could afford. So I can't knock them for getting me through some tough times a few years ago but the food is just not good. The rice is pale and bland. There isn't enough soy sauce to save it.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
